The owner planned to demolish the cottage and build
two new three- and four-bedroom houses. We ran a detailed feasibility study and
concluded that a more effective strategy would be to fully renovate the
existing house and add a third bedroom, and build one new four-bedroom house at
the back. This option was more profitable and involved far less work and
capital investment. Smarter upfront thinking meant multiple wins for our
client.
